Click above to see what the mayors of Slidell, LA and Gretna, LA had to say about Coastal Waste Services and the quality of the service they provide, and a word from the GM of Coastal Waste Services

CWS started out offering roll-off construction service only with 20, 30, and 40 cubic yard containers.  Servicing large construction sites revealed the need for portable toilets so "Johnny Pots" were added to the overall service package.  From there, they expanded to commercial business sites that needed 2, 3, 4, 6, and 8 cubic yard clean-up.  It was then just a step away for the company to move into residential waste service.

Chris not only re-incorporated the company in Louisiana, he directed its growth, tripling its gross revenue since his take-over in March.

But to listen to Chris you will hear the credit for growth goes to his team, and it is obvious that the team of CWS is on a roll with a growth in business of 15 - 20% monthly!

When Chris purchased the company, CWS had only 300 residential customers and six employees.  Today they have 31,000 residential customers and sign up 25 to 35 new ones daily!

The company employs 50 people and this number is expanding as the need for service does.  Large contracts are also coming their way.  Recently winning the city of Slidell's residential service, the city of Gretna's residential service, the village of Folsom's residential service and the St. Tammany Parish School Board contract were large validations of community trust in the company.

Any business owner would envy this type of growth.  Why and how is this happening for CWS?
Chris states,

"The market is here for the service we offer.  Consumers are tired of the quick and dirty non-professionalism that some of the giant companies deliver.  We offer a more personal service and we are more professional with better equipment.  St. Tammany is our backyard, where we live and where our children go to school.  If a customer calls with a complaint or a city councilmen calls with a need for service, we are on it!  We don't believe in excuses.  We just fix the problem!  When the Mayor of Slidell called last year concerned about the debris left behind by Hurricane Isidore and looking down the barrel of approaching Hurricane Lili, they told us we needed to have all garbage removed from the streets to minimize risk of personal injury and damage to property.  My sister company, Gulf State Contractors, went to work immediately and non-stop until the streets were clean.  We had two days to get an incredible amount of debris hauled and we did it.  It's imperative that the people who contract with CWS can trust us to do the work.  This is how you develop business relationships and successfully grow a business."

GM, Gus Bordelon

Speaking to their success, Gus Bordelon points to the courage of leadership demonstrated by Chris and also to the nuts and bolts of their daily operations.

"You have to have the right tools for the job and we have them.  Our equipment is new and maintained.  We have a GPS system that monitors the speed of our   trucks and we have cameras inside the cabs making driver field of vision more complete.

Our employees are the best in the field.  The staff has a combined 75 years of experience in the waste industry.  We do background checks and drug tests on all new employees so we know who we are hiring and putting behind the wheels of our trucks.  Daily, we have drivers calling us for positions as they hear about our operation.   Everyday we have a 'tailgate' meeting to discuss ideas and areas needing to be addressed.  These minutes go directly to management where they are implemented and not ignored."

You might be living in areas mentioned, but not receiving service from CWS.  If so call the company to have your home included.
